I'm a writer and former Medieval & Renaissance Studies major who is fascinated by the way the Internet is changing our lives for the better, worse, and weirder. In the Chronicle of Higher Education, I've written about how the university model should return to its monastic roots with a new iPad policy. I presented at the International Medieval Congress at Kalamazoo on the role of archaic maps in creating new literary understandings of space. In my role at Wellesley College, I observe the ways our online community becomes an important constituency to consider when making decisions. I love digital and literary space, Doctor Who, and the art of crafting a breakfast tray.
