I am originally from Colorado, and I received my BA in English from the University of Colorado, Boulder. I then worked at an IT support desk at IBM for about a year before moving to Charlottesville, VA where I received my MA in English Literature at the University of Virginia. It was here that I was first introduced to Digital Humanities and was able to test the proverbial waters of digital work. Currently, I am a first year PhD student at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. My area of interest is in 19th C. British Literature, Novel Studies, and the intersection of Economics and Literature.
